Platonic solids are the fundamental shapes of Sacred Geometry they represent 5 solids The Icosahedrons,Dodecahedron,Tetrahedron,Octahedron and the Cube.Platonic solids have certain characteristics by definition all the faces are the same all the edges are the same length and all Platonic Solids that are put inside a sphere will have their outside points touch the sphere.Pythagoras, Kepler, and Leonardo, among many, were educated in these Sacred Geometries of the Platonic Solids. The 5 Platonic Solids represents the Universe in its smallest denomination.Plato was mightily impressed by these five definite shapes that constitute the only perfectly symmetrical arrangements of a setof (non-planar) points in space, and late in life he expounded acomplete "theory of everything" based on these five solids. The Platonic solids feature prominently in the philosophy of Plato for whom they are named. Plato wrote about them in the dialogue Timaeus c.360 B.C. in which he associated each of the four classical elements (earth, air, water, and fire) with a regular solid.
